The Jewellery Web Shop was created in 1995 as an association between and in partnership with a selection of top Antwerp based diamond cutters.

Its internal team of expert gemologists, experienced goldsmiths and diamond merchants,
are all well known and highly respected within the industry.
Its founder, George Zaidmann has been in the trade since 1963, he is a diamond cutter,
a diamond sawer, diamond cleaver and a certified Gemologist all in one.
Furthermore his experience is such that many years have been spent in assorting and appraising
both rough and polished diamonds.

Literally many tens of thousands of diamonds have been appraised by him and he still acts
as our primary consultant and team expert.

As a member of the Antwerp Diamond Bourse, since 1972, he has earned the mark of the WFDB
and adheres to a strict  and ethical code. His membership number is found on the mark above.
